What Negroni Week celebrated

Imbibe launched Negroni Week in 2013 to celebrate the cocktail and raise funds for charitable causes. In 2023, Slow Food was the official giving partner, with Campari returning as presenting sponsor.

The cocktail at the centre of the event combines equal parts gin, Campari and sweet red vermouth. Participating bars and restaurants served the classic and their own variations, bringing different interpretations of the drink into a shared event.

Cocktailored's announcement for 2023

For the week of 18–24 September 2023, Cocktailored announced a pledge to donate 10% of the sale price of Negroni products to charity. That announcement concerned this specific campaign; it is not an ongoing donation offer attached to current orders.

Slow Food and the campaign

Slow Food works with food cultures, local traditions and communities. The 2023 event supported its work through Negroni Week fundraising. Participating venues and supporters could consult the event's official channels for ways to contribute.

Looking back, and looking ahead

Visitors could discover participating venues, try a Negroni variation and share the event using #NegroniWeek. Future editions have their own dates and participation details, so consult the organiser for information about a particular year.
